The “Associazione Nazionale Lirica Domani” was founded in 2000 by tenor Vincenzo Puma together with mezzosoprano Katia Lolova with the intent of spreading especially among the young audience the interest and love for classical music and traditions of Italy.
The main objective of the association is to identify young promising opera singers and help them start a career, making them grow professionally and artistically.
Lirica Domani persues its objectives through the promotion of various stage opera shows and concerts, mainly through the institution of The "Magda Olivero" International Voice Competition ,honoring the renowed Italian soprano Magda Olivero, aimed for all young opera singers of all nationalities. The events organized by our association has enabled many young opera singers to perform, confront with the public and grow rationally on stage.
Our collaboration with other associations and especially with the institutions in the national territory has made possible to achieve events of such importance.
An important collaboration of ours is with the “Circolo Ufficiali di Presidio dell’Esercito Italiano” based at Palazzo Cusani in Milan, Italy. Many of our concerts were indeed held in this wonderful place.
Other important collaborations are those with the “Amici della Musica” of Cernobbio (Co) and of Lodi, the national and regional institutions particularly with the Lombardy and Sicily region where during summer we held concerts in the square or auditorium.
An exciting tour in Japan with La Bohème of Puccini was held possible in 2005 thanks to the artistic collaboration between our association and those in the Japanese territory.
